Hot Stone Massage
Hot stone massage is a specialty massage where the therapist uses smooth, heated stones as an extension of their own hands, or by placing them on the body. The heat can be both deeply relaxing and help warm up tight muscles so the therapist can work more deeply.
Express Head and Neck Massage
Excellent for when you need a quick break, or in between regular massage services. Focusing on the most common areas of stress and tension: head, neck and shoulders.
Massage Cupping is a modality that works in conjunction with Massage Therapy. The client begins with massage therapy to warm up the back or area that needs to be treated. Next, large and small cups are placed on the treatment area to create a vacuum-like, negative pressure. The cups may stay or can be moved around, working to separate muscle, tissue, fascia, and loosen adhesions. Tense and painful muscle tissue quickly softens and opens, allowing for circulation of blood flow, which promotes healing. This is an extremely beneficial treatment with longer lasting effects for people suffering with many muscular issues including: upper and lower back pain, carpel tunnel, and IT band syndrome.
Please note: This modality is not recommended for everyone. The massage therapist who is trained in massage cupping will determine whether massage cupping is the right treatment for you. Also, please be advised that massage cupping does leave marks on the body that do last between 3-7 days.
An ancient, laying-on hands healing technique that uses life force energy to heal and balance the energy within ourselves. People who do not like to be unclothed while receiving bodywork, people who have cancer, and people who are experiencing tremendous pain benefit from reiki.
